Speaker Profile

Lori is a fiercely proud Newfoundlander, born and breed in. She is a storyteller, educator, author and cultural ambassador who is driven by a sense of responsibility to conserve her culture by nurturing the connections of humans to each other through place. Sustainability informs her every move and she has made it her life's work to become a leader in and advocate for a 'back to the land" approach wherein the pearls of wisdom, nestled in the stories of people of our communities, are expressed through that place.
