Participants will learn basic hand papermaking using a variety of fibres including recycled paper, textiles and sustainably grown, harvested and processed fibre flax. Participants will leave with approximately 12-15 sheets of freshly pulled paper to be dried at home.

Knowledge of papermaking basics including history, equipment, fibres/differences in fibre, pulling basic sheets, techniques for creative sheets, pressing, and drying. The workshop will include information on how participants can make paper at home with basic equipment in their home. A pre-made card, envelope and bookmark will be included in the participant's take-away package.
